Open a checking account, see a movie for free and help fight leukemia

Ready to stand up for a good cause in a way that won't cost you a dime? If you're age 18 or older and do not currently have a BestBank account, just come to the event on Tuesday at the Canton Cinema (43555 Ford Rd., between Morton Taylor and Sheldon), and bring your state-issued ID and $25 to deposit into a new, free checking account that you can open right there at the theater. Again, the $25 is your money. You simply deposit it into your new account -- there is no cost or fee.

However, for every new checking account that is opened, we get to help the Children's Leukemia Foundation of Michigan get closer to its goal of fighting leukemia, and you get to see a movie that starts between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. for free.

For every 10 people new to BestBank who open checking accounts at the event, Mythic Group will donate $25.00 to the Children's Leukemia Foundation to help the CLF fight against leukemia.

If you want to open your BestBank checking account before the event and you want to ensure you get your free movie, too, go to the BestBank branch inside Kroger in Canton at the corner of Michigan Ave. and Canton Center Rd. before 6 p.m. Tell them you are using referral account RM-2720, open your checking account, and bring a confirmation slip signed and dated by a bank representative to the event.

Even if you already have a bank or credit union, this costs you nothing, gives you a good time (and checking account) for free, and will help a good cause. Please help us in our efforts to stamp out leukemia. We really appreciate it. Thank you!
